スワン＆ライオンは、日本のみなさまにイギリスの美味しいミートパイを知っていただきたくて、イギリス人オーナーのイアン・ギビンスがスタートしたお店です 。
英国製のパイ機を使って、ひとつひとつ手作りしています。添加物や保存料はいっさい使用せず、昔ながらの製法で丁寧に作っています。
濃厚なグレイビーソースやベシャメルソースをサクサクの生地で包み込んだイギリス本場のミートパイを、ぜひお楽しみください。
その他、ふんわりスコーンやクリスマスプディング、ミンスパイなども人気商品です。
Swan & Lion is about full-flavoured modern British food, with influences from our travels around the world. We take inspiration from classic British dishes and present them in a strong and bold way. We use seasonal and wherever possible Japanese produce. Our products are all hand-made, natural and preservative-free; made the traditional way with love and expertise. We are always striving to bring new flavours and combinations that will excite our customers.
Our history so far:
2013年にブランドを立ち上げ、2015年に本店「スワン＆ライオン」を千代田区九段南（市ケ谷）にオープン。
現在はケータリングやオフィスデリバリーを中心に、三越や伊勢丹、東武、ヒカリエなどでの催事やイベントに出店しています。
In August 2013, owner/operator Ian Gibbins launched the Swan & Lion brand at the Tamaga Tomato Festival with our classic bitter orange marmalade, chutneys and pickles. Swan & Lion was then invited to attend a number of farmers’ markets around Tokyo, including Ark Hills and Aoyama.
In the lead up to Christmas 2013, Swan & Lion introduced its traditional Christmas puddings and mince pies and these continue to grow in popularity each year.
In May 2014 we launched our gourmet meat pie range, including the popular roast chicken, leek and Japanese mushrooms, a classic beef and a spicy pulled pork with beans.
September 2014 saw Swan & Lion jarred products for sale at National Azabu Supermarket, Hiroo.
That same year, Swan & Lion started to cater private events and parties and this has grown into a major part of our business.
In September 2015, Swan & Lion was invited to run the café at Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi’s British Fair and that has lead to a continuing and strong relationship with the Mitsukoshi/Isetan chain of department stores. In 2016 Swan & Lion operated a pie shop in the Shinjuku Isetan food hall for a week, a pop-up bakery in Mitsukoshi’s Nihonbashi stores food hall and is looking forward to more events for the remainder of 2016 and beyond.
Swan & Lion outgrew its original kitchen in Shibuya-ku and in November 2015 opened its first shop in Kudanminami.
